Our Chapel Allerton shop is situated right in the heart of the community, next to the butchers and across from the greengrocers on Harrogate Road.

Quality Seafood from Near and Far

We stock a huge range of seafood, from local cod and crab to exotic red snapper and large king prawns. Fresh deliveries arrive every day, and we pride ourselves on the quality, freshness and variety of the produce we offer.

Our day-boat-caught whole plaice are perfect for roasting on the bone, or you can have them filleted, dusted in flour and fried for a delicious meal. Our haddock is ideal for traditional fish and chips, or simply ask our team to mince it with onion for homemade fish cakes.

Expert Advice from Our Team

Our wholesale manager, Phill, has been with us for some time and has excellent knowledge of where our products come from, as well as plenty of great cooking tips. Come in and ask him how to prepare his famous chilli, garlic and chorizo swordfish.

Our shop manager, Tom, also has a wealth of experience and is always happy to share advice, whether you’re looking for inspiration, cooking guidance or help choosing something new.

Our Famous Wild Halibut

One of our best sellers is our wild, line-caught halibut. We receive these fish whole, and they can weigh up to 126kg (280lb). We steak and fillet them on site, creating truly exceptional portions that make an amazing meal and are well worth trying.
